J.J. Levy, aka Jen, grew up on the south coast of England during the 1990’s. At the age of 18 she faced a choice of going to University or joining the armed forces. After deciding that University was the path for her, she completed a Master’s degree in ground science. Jen is now an experienced project professional in the field of construction and has had alot of fun working on different types of construction projects all over the UK.
Jen lived and worked in France for a number of years and developed a deep appreciation for French wine and cuisine.
Jen starting writing short stories at college, mostly silly stories about her friends. Over the years this has matured to writing novels which are not quite so silly. Learning French allowed her to appreciate how language is structured, and learnt alot about English in the process.
Jen now lives in West Cumbria in the UK. When she’s not working or writing you can find her on the mountainous fells of the Lake District, exploring the spectacular landscape and experiencing the unpredictable weather in its many forms.
