Roly the Fox

Description

Roly the Fox is a traditional children’s story aimed at readers aged 5-7 years old. It tells the story of a cheeky, confident fox called Roly who regularly invades the garden of an old dog called Dibs.

Roly eats any food left out and steals toys belonging to Dibs. Dibs is old and has stiff joints and grumbles about catching Roly although he knows he cannot.

One night Roly’s partner, a vixen named Jasmine, gets caught in a steel snare and Dibs comes to the rescue.

K. Y. Schrader was born and educated in South-East Wales and then moved to Kingston-upon-Thames to study for a degree in French. She lived in the area for sixteen years after completing her degree and worked in magazine publishing, including on a title she and her former husband created, French Property News. She returned to South Wales in 1996 and has enjoyed living a more rural life. K. Y. Schrader lives in Monmouthshire.
