The Rutland Connection was an absolute delight to read. Perceptively and amusingly written by an author who clearly knows his subject, with beautifully drawn and totally believable characters. The emotional strain and cut and thrust of a live investigation was palpable and a dramatic ending too. I'm looking forward to the sequel already. Well done Mr Dane!
