Here's what readers have to say about this book....
I really enjoyed this novel. Despite it being a big book, you don’t really feel it because you’re enjoying it. I loved the author’s writing and I loved the characters. The chapters alternate POV’s and it’s done well. This is a very “human” story and I felt for the characters.
I really enjoyed this book. I really like books that have multiple points of view in them as it really allows me to get to grips with the story and the characters. I love historical fiction and I have always been fascinated by old buildings such as Mills etc that would have seen and heard so much., so I found this aspect fascinating too. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be looking for more from the author
