When the Clarke family escape to a secluded woodland lodge, they hope the isolation of being cut off from the world will provide the perfect retreat.

But from the moment they arrive, Jem Clarke senses it.

The locals are extremely unsettling, staring but barely speaking. Strange figures appear among the trees and in doorways, then vanish without a trace. At night, the sound of footsteps circling their lodge can be heard. There’s an unmistakable sense that the Clarkes are being watched.
