Here's what readers have to say about this book....
A wonderful read! This novel drew me in from the very first page and kept me hooked until the end. The characters were vibrant and relatable, the writing was engaging, and the story had just the right balance of heart and humor. Highly recommend! Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
I really like time travel romances so I had high hopes for this and Falling on a Duke definitely didn’t let me down. This was very cute and very romantic. Some of the out of time elements were a little wonky but I was really rooting for these two. I loved the FMC the most. Anyone who likes regency era stuff or wants to self insert into their own Pride & Prejudice fantasy will definitely enjoy this.
I enjoyed reading Falling on a Duke by Stefany Nunes. You will fall in love with all the characters. I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely. Happy Reading!
I was hooked from the beginning!! It was amazing and engaging. I was instantly sucked in by the atmosphere and writing style. The characters were all very well developed . The writing is exceptional and I was hooked after the first sentence.
First off, I need to say how incredibly lucky I feel to have gotten an ARC of this book. The Stefany's writing is just...magic. The whole story is just so beautiful and unique, it felt like nothing I've ever read before, I felt completely immersed in the world Stefany created, both past and present. What I really really loved was Benjamin. He's this proper, duty bound Duke, but underneath that, he's so wonderfully curious. Imagine being ripped from your own time and thrown into the 21st century! His fascination with everything, his genuine desire to understand this strange new world, was so endearing. I was totally invested in his journey, his confusion, and his slow, hesitant steps towards understanding. And then there's Isabella. She's been hurt, she's struggling with writer’s block and then BAM, a Duke from the past crashes (literally) into her life. I loved how she took him under her wing. She didn't treat him like a crazy person, but instead was kind and patient. She helped him navigate this confusing time, figuring out everything from smartphones to slang, and trying to help him find a way back home. Watching their connection grow was so sweet and natural. Stefany did such a wonderful job of developing the connection between Isabella and Benjamin. Even though they come from completely different timelines, their love felt so real, so deep and so beautifully inevitable. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how they would overcome the impossible distance between them. Would Benjamin stay? Could Isabella leave everything behind? Stefany made me genuinely care about their happiness and I was a blubbering mess by the end!
