Peter Tait is a New Zealander who has lived in the United Kingdom for over thirty years. He studied History at university and has a keen interest in colonial history and New zealand literature. He has written several books, including ‘In the Chair: The Public Life of Sir John Ormond’ ‘Florence: Mistress of Max Gate’, ‘Emma: West of Wessex Girl’ and ‘Thomas Hardy’s Women in Life and Literature’, as well as contributing to publications on education and literature.
