Eden Phillips started work as a stagehand in the 1960s. Since then, he has been actor, theatre producer, writer, publisher, lyricist and company owner. He has a degree in Drama from the University of Manchester.
He has written book and lyrics for the musicals Alfie, Love in a Cold Climate, The Postman and The Poet and Six Nights in Naples, and is author/producer of the revue Dorothy Fields Forever.
Eden lives in London, where he is a lifelong supporter of Chelsea FC. Backstage Confidential, Secrets of a Stagehand is his first book.
