Wendy Skorupski

A former English and Music teacher and a classical pianist, Wendy Skorupski was born in Cyprus, where the events that inspired Teatime for an Empire began. During the Cypriot conflict, her mother’s fiancé was killed by an EOKA gunman; she later married the friend he had been visiting in Kyrenia. 

Wendy co-founded the British International School of Cracow and now writes full-time. Teatime for an Empire is her third novel.
